MODERNIZATION OF DIESEL-ELECTRIC LOCOMOTIVE TYPE A61-017 (NOHAB) (2001)

Service Company MÁV Északi Járműjavító Ltd. has made the remotorization and modernization of the diesel-electric locomotive type A61 by the order of Hungarian State Railways (MÁV). The locomotive was given a new track-number and it is a constant motive power unite for the measuring coach of MÁV.

All documentation was made by INVENT Ltd. starting with authority approval documentation, brake system calculation and finishing with the documentation of mechanical parts for manufacturing. Our Company assisted in the installation of the prototype vehicle as our Client requested.

Beside the restoration of the main diesel engine the auxiliaries were renewed completly. A diesel-generator set for the auxiliaries was built in replacing the boiler and water tank. The mechanical driving system was replaced by a hydrostatic one. The fresh air system, the exhaust system, the engine colling system and the fuel system and the hyrostatic system was designed as well.

Hmrrs twin wagon has been created from Gbs wagons for MÁV CARGO. The roof, consists of two parts ensures both crane- and forklift loading.

Our Company created the documentation of the underframe modification, the documentation of the end-walls and the roof system. The design was supported by VEM simulation.

Container-flat wagon WTC 49’ Lgss – 2003

MÁV Debreceni Járműjavító Ltd. assembled 40’ container flat-wagon using isothermic-wagon underframe by the order of INTERCONTAINER-INTERFRIGÓ.

All documentation was made by INVENT Ltd. starting with authority approval documentation, strength calculation of the underframe, brake system calculation, finishing with the documentation of mechanical parts for manufacturing. Our Company assisted in the installation of the prototype vehicle as our Client requested. We saw the static and the dynamic strength tests through including the brake measurements.

We successfully aligned the technical solutions used to reconstruct the wagon with the Client’s technical abilities, thus we could achieve cost reduction in the production.
